Auto Racing Tours Corporate Suite

Situated above the pits, this is the best suite at the Bathurst 1000. It is positioned just in front of the start finish line and touching distance from the cars as they go into the pits for tyre changes and refuelling. The corporate suite has an outside balcony and excellent inside facilities including dining tables and bar area. The suite has tv monitors to watch all the action in air-conditioned comfort. A quick walk down the stairs and you are at the back of the pits where you can watch the teams and drivers go about their business and prepare for the race. All food and beverages are included on Saturday and Sunday with entry into the suite on Thursday and Friday.

Bathurst 1000 Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Wednesday 6^th October 2010

Sydney – Bathurst (D)

Today you will be met at the Sydney Airport by an Auto Racing Tours Representative and transferred by coach to Bathurst.  You will be met at the T2 arrival hall at 12:30pm and taken to Bathurst. This evening you may like to enjoy a group BBQ.

Day 2 Thursday 7^th October

Bathurst (L)

This morning (8.30am) those that wish to go to the circuit will be dropped off and picked up at the days end (5.00pm)

For those taking the day tour of Bathurst your excursion will begin at 9.00am.

You will first travel to the town of Hill End, an exciting old gold mining town about 60 km from Bathurst. The museum has a fantastic collection of gold rush memorabilia with old engines and a look inside a open cut gold mine. Here you will have morning tea and a nice lunch. After lunch an historian will take you through the area and explain the history of the old hotels and shops and how everything was established leading up to today. This afternoon you head back to Bathurst and have a relaxing evening or enjoy the festivities in the town.

Day 3 Friday 8^th October

Bathurst

Today you will transfer to the track (8.30am) and enjoy the day from your reserved grandstand seat or the luxury of your Auto Racing Tours Pit Straight Suite. Today is the warm up to an exciting weekend of V8 Supercar action with support races and entertainment. We ask you to be back to the bus 15 minutes after the last race.

Day 4 Saturday 9^th October

Bathurst

This morning the real action begins. You will be transferred (8.30) back to the track to soak up the amazing hospitality and atmosphere of what makes this weekend the best of the rounds. Today you watch as the teams drive hard to state their claim on the starting grid and pole position in the top 10 shoot out. This evening you are transferred back to your hotel. We ask you to be back to the bus 15 minutes after the last race.

Day 5 Sunday 10^th October

Bathurst

Today is the finale of the legendary Bathurst 1000.  Again after being transferred (8.30am) to the track you will watch as the drivers fight for the finish line in what proves to be a race of strategy and experience. For a V8 Supercar driver, winning Bathurst is the ultimate reward. For a V8 Supercar Fan, Bathurst is the ultimate experience. After the race celebrations are complete you have 15 minutes to be back at the bus.

Day 6 Monday 11^th October

Bathurst – Sydney

This morning your tour comes to a close. You will be met by our Auto Racing Tours Representative and transferred (8.00am) by coach back to Sydney Airport.  The coach will arrive at Sydney Airport by 11:30 am, therefore if arranging your own flights please allow at least 1 hour to check-in.
