Another Record Breaker!!!
An huge number of exhibitors and booths marked the 20th anniversary of the PRI Trade Show

For three strong days, the 20th Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show celebrated its platinum anniversary with a record number of exhibitors and booths, packed aisles with racing industry members doing business face to face, and more hardcore racing parts on its 1,000,000-square-foot Show floor than ever before.

In record-setting fashion, more than 1450 companies exhibited in more than 4200 booths during the PRI Trade Show at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center, December 6-8, 2007. There was an unprecedented selection of the newest racing parts and technology. Exhibitors at the Show came from 47 countries, making it the world’s largest racing trade show.

On the first day of the PRI Trade Show, Thursday, December 6, Carl Edwards, fresh off his 2007 NASCAR Busch Series championship, waved the green flag as PRI’s Grand Opening Breakfast Speaker. Edwards entertained the crowd of over 3000 racing industry members with stories of moving up the racing ranks on dirt tracks.

After the Show closed for the day, Thursday evening was brimming with more excitement at the Convention Center site. First, attendees mixed and mingled at the PRI Happy Hour, where complimentary Budweiser beer, tasty hors d’oeuvres and the World Famous Bud Girls helped fuel the fun. Following the Happy Hour, the Snap-on All-Star Karting Classic was held in a specially designed track adjacent to the Convention Center. Celebrity guest drivers were on hand, returning to their karting roots.

Friday night, the 3rd Annual MOPAR-PRI Sprint & Midget Classic Presented by DHL hit Orlando SpeedWorld. A huge Crane Cams $50,000 bonus was on the line for the driver who could win both the 40-Lap Midget and 40-Lap Sprint Car feature. Bobby East won the Sprint Car feature while Dakoda Armstrong claimed victory in the Midget race.
