IndyCar kicks off again on the 27 March 2011 in St Petersburg. There are 15 races scheduled for the season with final race at Miami Speedway in early October.

The most well known event on the calendar is the Indianapolis 500. It is known as the fastest, richest race in the world. Excessive speeds and a multi-million dollar purse make this event the crème de la crème of auto racing.
